Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Instructions for submitting an Abstract You are invited to submit an abstract at the conference website [email protected] abstract should not be more than 250 words and should highlight objectives, methodology and findings. Conceptual and theoretical papers will also be accepted. If you wish to be a discussant, kindly indicate this in your submission. The submission must contain the Title of the Paper, Name (s), Department(s), Institution(s), and Email Address(s) of the corresponding author. Conference Participants should note that selected full Papers not exceeding fifteen (15) pages shall be published in the West Africa Journal of Social Sciences and Regional Development. Poster Presentation; Posters are accepted at this conference. A panel comprises four papers. Submission for panel presentations should include a summary of 250 words maximum and an abstract for each Paper/ Presenter. The panelorganizer will be informed of the decision regarding the panel before individual panel members will be contacted. Faculty members are strongly encouraged to team up with graduate students to form panels. Additional Information All Participants should register online.
